Steven Lambert

Steven became Log Cabin Community Church’s fourth pastor in July 2025. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Log Cabin. His leadership is marked by a compassionate heart, thoughtful preaching, and a strong commitment to inclusivity and spiritual growth.

He received his undergraduate degree from Gardner Webb University in Psychology, his Master of Arts degree in Psychology Counseling from Argosy University, and his Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Steven has served in numerous churches as Senior and Associate Pastor from 2001 to the present including Welcome All Baptist Church in Smyrna, South Cherokee Baptist Church in Woodstock, and Sharon Baptist Church in Smyrna.

Steven currently works full time for WellStar Health System as the Director for Behavioral Health services. He has numerous affiliations with community organizations, clubs, and foundations.

 He has taught as an adjunct Professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Laurel University. He has been on the staff of WellStar Health System as a Case Manager.

“My vision for Log Cabin is to be a vibrant and loving spiritual home, rooted in Christ, where all feel welcome, and where faith is lived out in service and grace,” said Rev. Lambert.
