Rev. Raymond G. Coffman, a long time resident of Cobb County, was called to serve as Pastor of the Log Cabin Community Church in the fall of 2013. "I am honored", says Coffman, "to be a part of a church with over 100 year history of being a non-denomination church that continues to this day to open its doors to all seeking a place to worship, grow, and fellowship with others on life's journey." Raymond strives to be sensitive to the everyday struggles and stress life sometimes throws our way. His passion is to create a safe place at the Log Cabin for personal and spiritual development. The beauty of our church is that the doors are always open to all who visit or call Log Cabin home. A native of Washington, D.C., he is a graduate of Liberty University with a major in Theology and Psychology, and holds a Masters Degree in Pastoral Care & Counseling. Currently, Raymond is Manager and Chaplain at WellStar Health System. His ministry has always involved helping people of all ages and faith backgrounds. "Life is richer", Coffman states, "when we are open to accepting and learning from each other." Raymond and his wife, Barbara, reside in West Cobb County and are proud parents of a son, Clark, a recent college graduate, and a very spoiled little black and white dog named Oreo.

Music is a very important component of our worship service and in the life of our church. We are fortunate to have both a talented pianist and soloist on our staff, and also enjoy a variety of visiting musicians including a hand bell choir, violinist, guitarists as well as visiting soloists and quartets.
