On the first Sunday in June 1912, in a little log cabin on the edge of a dirt road, the Log Cabin Union Sunday School was founded, and became a community religious center where families could readily meet.

Today, over a century later, the "Cabin" stands dedicated to serve the local community.  Our congregation welcomes all who reach out for a place to worship and strives to provide services for the community, all the while following the original Vision and Mission of the church:

All who come, meet with a common purpose: to worship God, each according to the dictates of his or her own heart.

To provide a meeting place for the community—a place to study and worship together, a friendly spirit, an atmosphere of reverence.
